Choosing the right projector to fit your build and budget can be tough. Read through this page to help guide yourself in choosing the right Bi-Xenon HID Retrofit for your car.
To begin, you can select a package from this page HERE
These are popular universal kits that can be installed in your headlights.
For the more advanced or adventurous, you can build your own by following these steps.
Choose between quality aftermarket options such as the newly released Mini H1 V7.0, the Mini D2S or the FXR, or time proven oem projectors from Lexus (RX350), Acura (TL), Honda (S2000 (Low beam only)), or the Q45 if you have the room and the budget!
2. Pick your bulb (Make sure you choose the right one! H1/D2S….)
Choosing your bulb can be difficult. Temperatures offered from Morimoto include 3000k, 4500k, 5500k, and 6500k. Recommended are 4500k and 5500k for best output, 6500k for a slight blue tinge. To upgrade the performance, consider bulbs such as the Osram Xenarc 66240 CBI 5500k, Osram Xenarc 66240 Nightbreaker 4200k or the Philips 85122XV C1 Xtreme Vision if you have a hole burning in your wallet.
OEM or Aftermarket? 35W or 55W? Denso or Matsushita or Mitsubishi? 35W has a longer warranty and lifespan, 55W shines a little brighter. OEM produces more power and brighter light, even when paired with XB35 Bulbs (Our recommendation for the bang-for-buck crowd). Be sure to select if you need a AMP (H1, H4, H11….) or D2S/D1S.
4. Pick your shrouds & lighting
Make sure the shroud you’ve chosen fits your projector of choice by looking here! (Example) Adding foreground halo’s or backlit halo’s will raise the price of the build if you choose to add them. You can see the additional cost be looking at the “recommended halo sizes” right below the compatibility section.
Price can fluctuate based on items such as angel eyes and shroud backlighting
Local customers in Toronto, Ontario & the GTA can drop off their car to ensure 100% projector alignment.
